Usually, she is a very energetic person. She constnatly smiled and tend to be very friendly toward other people around her.

One day, you she suddenly becomes very quiet, and you find it to be really strange. So you asked her if she is okay , and she said 'yeah, I'm fine' .

Clearly, her response contradict the information that you know about her personally. So, you need to find better approach to communicate with her if you really want to find out what actually caused her quitness.  Maybe something bad happened in her personal life and this is just her way to handle it, for example.
