Create a histogram for the data set. click and drag on the horizontal axis to adjust the bar heights. 3, 1, 7, 12, 24, 4, 10, 16, 29, 6, 15, 2, 27 (couldn't post the data set)

TO create a histogram of this data you will create a frequency table with intervals of numbers. Each interval of numbers must have the same amount of numbers represented.

Then use the intervals as your labels on the x-axis. Graph a bar as high as the frequency for each interval and make sure it touches the next bar.

The major difference is that a histogram is only used to plot the frequency of score occurrences in a continuous data set that has been divided into classes, called bins.  bar charts, on the other hand, can be used for a great deal of other types ofvariables  including  ordinal  andnominal  data sets.
