PLEASE I NEED HELP FAST Jim and Pam's friend, Michael, saw how much fun they were having building rockets that he wanted to build one too. Michael wanted to
build a rocket that would fly higher than Jim and Pam's.
The friends decided to make it a contest and see who had the rocket that flew the highest. On the day of the launch, each team launched
their rocket while a computer recorded an equation that followed it's parabolic path, where y = the height of the rocket in yards and x = the
horizontal distance on the ground in yards. The results are in:
Jim and Pam's rocket had a path modeled by the equation: y = -5x^2+ 75x - 130
Michael's rocket had a path modeled by the equation: y = -5x^2 + 65x - 60
Who won the contest? That is, which parabola had the highest maximum height?
Explain your answer below using 2 different methods. (Choose from: a graph, table, and/or calculating the vertex). Remember, explain
your answer below and show work on your paper. You must explain/show your answer using 2 different methods.
