(a) approximate the probability that the system is still working after 1000 days. probability β‰ˆ

b) now, suppose that the time to replace the component is a random variable that is uniformly distributed over ( 0 , 0.5 ) . approximate the probability that the system is still working after 1100 days. probability β‰ˆ

i've figured out part a but part b is giving me a problem. i knw for sure the answer isn't 0 which is what i'm seeing.
