How do you think the muslims regarded the christian crusaders?

I think they regarded them as an opposing force. In terms of a religious war, they merely saw them as invaders udring thee crusades which wasn't anything more than political struggles. As a matter of fact, Christians fought against other branches of Chrisitnaity.
