Explanation:

During 1600 the East India Company was made to make a trade-in agricultural products from India. This system transformed the trading company into an entity that was controlled by the British empire. But this soon came to end due to the growth of nationalism as by late 1800 there was only a tiny number of British soldiers and administrators in India. The awakening of the middle-class Indian who worked in the administration put pressure on the British government to let Indians rule India.
