Even though it gives the government and law enforcement agencies more freedom to examine records without a warrant, if you are a law abiding citizen then it does not matter what the government can see.

For example, the federal government now has the ability to search a person's home or business without a warrant or their consent if they are suspected of organizing terrorist activities. This is a serious violation of the fourth amendment, which states that there needs to be a warrant present in order to search a home.
