If the earth was flat, there would likely be no seasons. Another possibility if the earth was flat is that there wouldn’t have to be time zones

Reason: 1. If the earth was flat there would only be extremes for temperature so there would be no seasons because the sun wouldn’t be evenly distributed 2. time is counted by the rotation of the earth and what part of the sphere is getting sunlight
