The Chicago Cubs is a baseball team. For years, tickets to most Cubs games sold out. Many fans could not get seat. So, some people put up their own bleachers on the rooftops of nearby buildings. These bleachers were
often full. Rooftop businesses started growing. People paid about $150 a game. This came with food and drink.
However, in 2007, people had less money to spend. The Cubs were not winning many games. Fewer people
bought rooftop seats. The rooftop businesses lost money.
