The coronation of the King was attended by me last year. Funfair and amazing sights were seen by spectators of the events. History was being made when the President of our country and his wife attended the event. Summarily, a statement of class and excellence was made at the event.

Explanation:

Passive voice is a form of speech whereby the subject that experiences the action becomes the object. Positions are swapped as the subject is now acted upon. A passive voice is used in the above account of an event that I attended. For example, instead of using the active voice;

"I attended the coronation of the King last year",

the passive voice was used thus: The coronation of the King was attended by me last year.

Here, the subject I becomes the object, me.
