The "Funny women flourish in female-written comedies." is stating that having female comedians is becoming more and more popular and is saying that having a female protagonist is not normal but in some movies or shows it is becoming more popular now  meaning that the female role is becoming more appreciated

They are all stating that women are changing the comedy from TV series to movie films. It is all talking about women expressing their hilarious side without being made fun of.

The central idea of this article is having a female able to be a comedian without being made fun of and it doesn't matter that they are females they are worried about how the females made them laugh about a certain situation.

The article is talking about the different females becoming comedians and acting in not only TV shows, but in movies as well. It goes to show you can be a female and still be funny.
