Ok I need someone’s opinion of just POV I guess ?
I have a friend, who I consider a very best friend. Usually we talk everyday although unless we’re busy or have personal (ie. School or family) matters. Since I don’t want to just call I always text to see if they’re free to talk. And a normal person I feel, would either say no, let’s talk later or no I don’t think I can today if they are busy. But instead they don’t answer. This wouldn’t bother me but what does is that I message them because I see that they’re online ( like playing a game or something ). Hence why I decide to see if they’re free to talk. And I message them when I feel they might not be busy but no answer
I don’t know if I’m just overthinking things and honestly this isn’t the first time they’ve done this or something that’s made be think about our friendship:(
Am I overthinking things? ⚠️ I might comment so be aware lol ⚠️

What if the author had used “looked at” instead? punishment would be deemphasized. punishments would be seen as less harsh. the meaning wouldn't change.
