Can someone please check this and see if it sounds good? Thank you. There are many reasons on how films and text are similar, other than the fact that they both tell a story. Both the film and the text have a “hook” in the beginning. For example, in the film and the text, the narrator told details about the setting. This gets the reader to want to read more about the film and/or text. If there wasn’t a “hook,” it wouldn’t grab the reader or the audience’s attention. It would be boring and tedious. Another reason on how films and text are similar is that they both create a mental picture for the reader/audience. For example, they give brief details about the setting and their surroundings. This gives them a mental note about what’s happening, so they don’t miss what’s coming up. Giving the reader details about the setting can set the mood and later on can change the way characters act.

Which sentences from part 1 of the call of the wild would best serve as evidence of the theme "sometimes survival depends on knowing when not to fight"? buck had accepted the rope with quiet dignity. to be sure, it was an unwonted performance: but he had learned to trust in men he knew, and to give them credit for a wisdom that outreached his own. he had merely intimated his displeasure, in his pride believing that to intimate was to command. but to his surprise the rope tightened around his neck, shutting off his breath. he saw, once for all, that he stood no chance against a man with a club. he had learned the lesson, and in all his after life he never forgot it. that had given them an unfair advantage; but now that it was off, he would show them. they would never get another rope around his neck.
