Zeus was the most high of the Olympian gods, overlooking the many people and Gods and demi gods. Atlas had wanted to have the same power or authority that Zeus had. So, he formed an army of the Titans and fought against the Olympian gods for the power to have control of the heavens. As a punishment for this treachery and revolt, Zeus punished him with an eternal punishment, that of holding the heavens on his shoulders, supporting it and never able to let go.

i would like to compare these two interpretations of the crucible : 1) eric christ's interretation and wade bradford's interpretation. the main differences between there interretaions is that in the first one you can notice direct link to joseph mccarthy whereas the second one represents how the town is filled with hysteria.the second interpretation shows that author believes that the story   about puritan town in salem is based on actual events while the first example shows the sencible reference to sort of bias.
