Formation of the particular regiochemistry:

Regiochemistry is the process that favors the formation of bond at a specific atom over the other possible bondable atoms. The description of any of the regiochemical reaction is said to be the regiochemistry of the reaction. The reaction occuring in the reaction is regioselective as the bonding atom is chosen by the process.This process can be applied to certain reactions namely, addition to pi ligands.
