g Identify the statement that accurately describe receptor tyrosine kinases. A ligand binds to the intracellular domain of the protein. GTPase activity is required for autophosphorylation. The intracellular domains has kinase domains. They are called tyrosine kinases because they contain multiple tyrosines in the transmembrane helices. There are no transmembrane domains in receptor tyrosine kinases.
