The modern cell theory states that 1-all living things are composed of cells, 2-all cells derive from pre-existing cells by cellular division, and 3-the cell is the structural and functional unit of all life forms. Many researchers contributed to the development and formulation of the modern cell theory. First, the invention of the optical microscope, followed by the improvement with lighting by Robert Hooke (1660) and observation of microscopic organisms by Antonie van Leeuwenhoek (1675) contributed to the observation of cellular structures that previously were unknown. Subsequently, the cell theory was proposed by Schleiden and Schwann (1839) who suggested that all life forms are composed of cells (the fundamental unit of life). Subsequently, the theory was expanded by Virchow (1855) who proposed that all cells arise from pre-existing cells. Thus, the modern cell theory is the result of the scientific work of many researchers that have contributed across centuries in order to collect a body of knowledge (both experimental and observational) that supports the statements resumed in this theory. Nowadays, it is impossible to conceive biology as a scientific discipline without making reference to the modern cell theory.

proteins: made up of nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. they are polymers of amino acids.

the transfer for conduction is the heat transfering from the liquid to the spoon

the transfer for convection is the heat rising from the liquid to the air

the transfer for radiation is the heat going through the sides of the cup and to the air
