My life as a Primary consumer wouldnt exactly be the best. Very scary world out there as a mouse. i do strive in rural  areas though much more space but much more easily targeted. Urban areas are too cluttered for such a species too much risks of getting stepped on run over! Things for me most likely wont last long i just eat poop and then will get caught by a secondary consumer, the larger animals). Once im gone i decompose in the new 'owner' of me and then that gets eaten. When that happens we go to the next consumer until we get to the final one. Once we get to the Quaternary consumer it lives then dies and becomes a decomposer for primary producers and aslo a food source for scavengers.
