Explain the Different Types of Asexual Reproduction

Explanation:

there are five types of asexual reproduction which are

FRAGMENTATION:  This is a form of asexual reproduction in which organisms split into smaller pieces called fragments and each fragment develops into a new individual. fragmentation  occurs in so many organisms such as hydra , spirogyra , sea stars. etc.

BUDDING: This is a form of asexual reproduction in which  a new organism is formed  called (BUD) from a small part of the parent body. the bud formed attaches to the parent body and later detaches from the parent and forms a new individual. yeast, amoeba, hydra undergoes budding reproduction.

SPORE FORMATION: this is a form asexual reproduction that is commonly found among non-flowering plants e.g rhizopous and bacteria. parent plants produces numerous spore which are tiny and grow into new plants.

BINARY FISSION : This is a process of asexual reproduction in which parent cells divide and result into two identical cells with each having the potential to grow in size like the original cell.

VEGETATIVE REPRODUCTION: this is a form of asexual reproduction whereby multi-cellular structures detach from  the parent  plant and develop into new individuals that are identical to the parent genetically.
