Hey, something like this was engraved on my table at school. Does anyone know what this means? Thanks.

These are Chinese symbols. The symbol on the left displays an extreme sign of hate, or dislike. Usually not something you would say to someone whom you are closely related to. The second symbol shows a breakthrough, where you have conquered something hard. Not sure what they have to do with each other, though!
