There was a time in my life where I really struggled in life. Wether it was with confidence or just even appreciating life as it was. One day I woke up and got ready for the day, and when I walked into the kitchen my mom was there with fresh crepes on the table. And for me that was the greatest jesture in the world because i didnt think at the time that anybody really cared. But for my Mom it was just another day, that really didn't matter all that much. As I think back to this memory I remember that something that seems small to you, like a smile to a stranger in the hallways or a highfive after a game, can honestly either make or break someone.

i remember a kid from africa moved to our school and she didn't speak no english. well she did but it was very limited but all the kids including me would ask her question like has she ever hunted a elephant or ever been hunted by a lion. to us she was so interesting even thought she was ordinary but by the fact she was from a different country we thought things were different. (honestly i asked her if she lived in a mud house on the savanna.) do i feel bad about approaching her yeah but do i feel bad about asking her question no because i would have never found out all the cool things about africa that aren't true
