The word ‘My’ and ‘Mine’ belongs to possessive pronouns.The definition is given below-

The meaning of ‘My’ and ‘Mine’ is same but is used in different places. The word ‘My’ and ‘Mine’ have the same root of the word ‘Me’ but have some differences. The other meaning of the word ‘Mine’ (the mine from where the minerals are dug out) is ‘coal mine’, ‘gold mine’ etc.
