Assessment Directions: For this assignment you will use a template to help you plan a biography about a notable Hispanic American.

Planning your writing is an important step. You will need to do some research and think about the challenges your subject has faced and their accomplishments. Complete the following steps to create a plan for your biography.

Choose an influential Hispanic American to research from the list.
Locate credible sources of information about your subject. Need help with this step? Review this presentation on locating sources.
Using the information you’ve found, complete the template. Remember to include saber and conocer, the imperfect and preterit tenses, at least two stem-changing verbs in the preterit, and at least two relative pronouns.
Cite the sources you used. Can’t remember how to cite them correctly? Review this information.
Review your work. Be sure that you’ve written your responses in your own words using proper Spanish grammar and vocabulary. Don’t forget to check the rubric to make sure you have all the requirements.
Save your completed template. You will need this template to complete the assignment for this lesson as well as your written and video presentations at the end of the module.
