Yo trabajaba para pagar mis estudios. (imperfect)

Translation: I worked to pay for my studies.

En verano me gustaba ir a la playa. (imperfect)

Translation: In the summer I liked going to the beach.

Cada tres años yo viajaba para visitar a mi familia a los Estados Unidos. (imperfect)

Translation: Every three years I traveled to visit my family in the United States.
