Paula y Humberto Suárez llegaron al restaurante El Famoso a las ocho y siguieron al camarero a una mesa en la sección de no fumar.

El señor Suárez pidió una chuleta de cerdo.

La señora Suárez prefirió probar los camarones.

De tomar, los dos pidieron  vino tinto.

El camarero repitió  el pedido (the order) para confirmarlo.

La comida tardó mucho (took a long time) en llegar y los señores Suárez se durmieron  esperando la comida.

Mrs. Suarez preferred to try the shrimp.

To drink, the two asked  red wine.

The waiter repeated  the order to confirm it.

It took a long time for the food to arrive and Mr. Suarez fell asleep  waiting for the food.

At half past nine the waiter served them  food.

After eating the cutlet, Mr. Suarez felt  very bad.
