The food in the United States are really basic compared to the food in Spanish speaking countries. In Spanish speaking countries there are alot of different spices used to make there food and it delicious. Everyone love the basic hamburgers and hotdogs but for some puerto ricans we love to make the hamburger patties the night before with the seasonings so that the patties can have flavor. I have seen some Americans buy the patties at the store and just throw it on the grill and just eat it. I think all countries are different in there own ways. Its also a culture thing for some Hispanic you eat rice and beans basically your entire life. no matter if your sick of it, tired of eating the same thing over and over. it's a really basic food for all Hispanics. You can make rice and beans many different ways like one way I like it is white rice and corn beef, with yellow plantains. you can use french fries for younger kids, you can put a fried egg on top of the rice and corn beef.
