By age 18, the average american has seen 200,000 acts of violence on tv, including 40,000 murders. what is it about television violence that is so compelling to people?

There are several reasons why television violence is so compelling to people. These are the following reasons:

a.       Some people uses TV as a sedative

-          Some people relax their mind and body through watching TV and mostly about violence. There is this sensation and satisfaction when watching violence in TV.

b.      The thrill of the movie

-          Most people always have this tingling feeling when watching violence in TV. It satisfies their craving for thrill when they cannot do it themselves.
