Explain two reasons why young workers may spend more than middle-aged workers.

Young people may spend more because they think that they do not need to save for retirment now as they can save later in life. Younger people tend to spend more because they feel the need to buy things that might make them popular or get more friends. Social Media may influence this by saying that you have to have a certain product. Many adults do not use social media and are less likely to fall into this trap.
