11. Why do many history books begin with European explorers and not Native American people?

This could be because the books themselves were not written by the native american people... they were written by the colonizers. Therefore, it's not gonna be about the OG natives, instead it's gonna be about how the colonizers killed a bunch of them and stole their land to call it their own. Just being brutally honest!
