What are factors that can influence how a judge makes decisions?

There are multiple factors that go into a judge's ruling, much of it is based out of legal findings, (admissible & useful) evidence, the judges ideology, political connection, and personal judgement - while judges do hold a lot of power their methods must be agreed upon at the local/state & government levels.
