What are some of the basic values identified as being central to the american way of life?

There are so many things that can be tied to the american way:

Personal achievement, individualism, work, morality and humanitarianism, efficiency and practicality, progress and material comfort, equality and democracy, freedom, nationalism and patriotism, science and rationality, and racial and group superiority

Summarizing:

I guess that all the central american way of life is all based on Hard Work, doing your part to improve society, and freedom (of all kinds). Without freedom, in the market and in the human action, we cannot have the american way of life that was designed by the founding fathers.
