What did the alamo look like when jim bowie used it as a fort in 1836

It was a really old Spanish church that was run down and deteriorating. During the invasion of Texas ( not the u.s. yet ) he had fortefied it with men and lots of guns and cannons. People had lived there and it was really like an old compound. Hope this helps !!
