Which goods did europeans want from india and china?

Europeans especially wanted to get fine Chinese goods such as silk, tea and pottery.

They saw India as a golden sparrow
from both of these countries they wanted to obtain : silk , different spices , tea as it was originally invented in China , and everything else the previous helper answered :)
