Hardwoods reproduce using flowers and have broad leaves; hardwoods include trees such as elm, cedar, and pine. The most common North America hardwood is red alder.  

EXPLANATION:  

Hardwood is a kind of plant. It is also commonly called as broadleaves. This tree is classified as angiosperms. It means that angiosperms tree is a plant with ovules enclosed for protection in an ovary. These ovules will rapidly develop and grow into seeds when hardwoods are properly watered on good fertile sites. The ovules will also grow into seeds when hardwoods are fed in the landscape with a special tree fertilizer mix. When the ovules grow into seeds, the seeds will drop from the tree as nuts, acorns, drupes, pods, and samaras.  

Hardwoods reproduce using flowers and have broad leaves. This tree has either simple or complex leaves. Simple leaves can be divided into unlobed and lobed. The unlobed leaves may have a serrated edge such as elm, or a smooth edge such as a magnolia. The most commonly found hardwoods in North America, red alder, has oval-shaped leaves and reddish-brown bark. This plant can grow as tall as 100 feet. Red alder is found mostly in Canada and the western United States.

panem is a communist totalitarian dictatorship where all the resources and how they are allocated belongs to the capitol. the districts exist only to provide goods and services for the capital and most of the citizens live in poverty. it is a police state where the "peacekeepers" use force and threats to keep the people under control. dissent is outlawed and those who disobey the law are executed, flogged, or turned into avoxes. the games are another means in which the ruling elite in the capitol exert their power over the districts. when reading the books i drew parallels between panem and the soviet union and north korea. in no way is panem capitalist. the people in the capitol are wealthy but the majority of them are involved in the government somehow. it was the same way in the former soviet union where bigwigs in the communist party and high ranking government officials were given access to goods, services, medical treatments not available to the general public. if you think panem has a capitalist economy you need to brush up on your economics.
