Name two congressional limits on the president according to the constitution

Congress has the ability to impeach the U.S. President and Congress also has the ability to override a Presidential veto if it is able to meet a certain majority in both houses of Congress.

According to the Article Two of the United States Constitution states, there are  two congressional limits on the president, that are:

1. Treaties must be approved by the Senate.
2. Presidential appointments must be approved by the Senate.

The second amendment forces an elected president to stay in the in office for two years and his overall turnover could be eight years. There is also a possibility that the president can serve up to 10 years. Furthermore, the president should get all the appointments and treaties, made with other nations, approved by the house of senate members.
