Wage discrimination is another term for pay discrimination. Wage discrimination means the discrimination made in pay among different genders or races.

Even though many females will be familiar with wage discrimination but still they will choose to do that work to fulfil some needs. But in the last few years, women have been fighting for their rights. Every person should ensure that they are being paid rightly for their work without the discrimination of caste, gender, colour or creed.

Wage discrimination means that people are discriminated on the basis of skills, gender or social status. This wage discrimination gives rise to unequal pay that means people are not being fairly paid for their services.

This creates a severe divide amongst the society. People might even indulge into activities that are not socially accepted.This can be eradicated if firms start hiring on the basis of skill set without any kind of discrimination based on gender or references from the big names of the society.
