Create an Informational Poster In this lesson, you learned that advanced educational institutions are required to obey the rules set out in several federal policies. Although the lesson outlined the major provisions for each policy, there are many other details described in the text of each policy. Some of the policy documents can be hundreds of pages long. These policies are amended frequently; it can be difficult for students, parents, faculty, and administrative personnel to keep up to date on all of the details of the current policies. Therefore, some colleges, universities, vocational-training programs, and continuing adult-education programs display posters that describe the most salient features of an educational policy.

Assignment
In this assignment, you will choose one of the policies described in this lesson to learn about in more detail. You will design a poster that explains the most important points of the policy that you have chosen to investigate. Your poster should be addressed to a general audience; therefore, it should not contain technical details. Rather, it should be written in language that can easily be understood by most readers.

To complete this assignment you will:

Identify a specific federal educational policy that you wish to investigate.
Find a minimum of three online resources that describe your chosen policy. One of the resources should be the text of the actual educational policy. You can find a link to each of these documents in the references section of this lesson.
Identify the most important points of the policy, and design a poster that explains these points to a general audience. Your poster should be informative, but also readable.
