This creates many bad emotions that affect students emotionally and mentally. Students avoid any type of contact with other people for a while. They even could have a nervous breakdown.

In academics, the victim that is emotionally insecure and has lost trust in himself is not able to pay attention and focus on class. The victim is afraid of having another aggression and is watching his back all the time in class, in the corridors, at the library, instead of focusing on his academic activities. Of course, he fails in the exams and has low grades, which makes things worse.

That is why bullying must be prohibited and punished not only in school, but in the workplace, and society in general.
