maybe I think you should show that person as a friend of yours to your parents then after the person gains their trust you can announce it. Sorry I am not good at this kind of stuff but this is the best answer I could offer.

welll think about it if they know your a good kid it wont matter because they trust you but at the same time don't loose their trust by doing something your going to regret and if they truly trust you in the first place then they will know that they can trust you with any gender not just girls/boys and there is now way to truly avoid it you juts have to be honest with then the best way you know how no matter what happens
