It was the last day at camp. Many of us decided to go out that night and explore the surrounding creek. The water ran all day and all night. So we all wanted to go see it. But on our way through the forest. And through the trees. I felt as if we where being watched. I didn't want to say it but I felt like the trees where watching us. But maybe it was just the animals. We always had raccons and foxes. Raiding our trashes at night. As we walked more and more through the dark forrest we realized the creek was actually father then what we thought. But as we got closer and closer I felt more and more stares. The trees. The trees had felt as if they had faces. But it was to dark to tell. And the branches that hung off these trees came out more and more as if to grab us. But like normal teens we pushed on. And finally got to the creek. When we got their it was freezing cold. Like paranormally cold. Everything was dark also. None of our flashlights seemed to work efficiently. So we all huddled together and turned them all on to get a bit of light. Then at around midnight. A strong gust of wind pushed through the trees and the water and turned off our flashlights. We had nothing. We had no one. Just us and the constant sound of running water. Thats when the sounds began. The sound of trees breaking and falling. Sounds of grunts and leaves moving back and forth. That was it. The trees were alive. We had desturbed them. We needed to run. And run is what we did.
