Protection for individual rights in U.S. society reflects the idea that all people have natural rights! The natural rights are outlined in our Constitution. Rule of law means that everyone in a society must follow the laws equally - both people and businesses as well as institutions. Elections to choose officials to stand for the people's interests in the work of government reflect the principle of Representative government. We recently just had an election where the people voted and chose their congressman and councilmans as well as the President.

Freedom of religion, freedom of speech, being protected by our military and first responders on a daily basis and many many more.
