The principle of the Constitution was a conservative reaction to the Revolution and an enshrinement of revolutionary principles. People moved to the new world looking for independence to begin with. They had thoughts of liberty and human rights already within them. From the Revolution, this showed these ideas with formed the principles of the Constitution. There were steps from the ideas to becoming the real thing. The most original thing about the Constitution is that it guaranteed rights to the people of the state within the bill of rights or "human rights", which the British did not have in its Federal government.
