Taxes can be use to fund government programs to improve the quality of workforce. This will provide a lot of poor people with the opportunity to obtain education that they can use to get high-paying jobs.

Support  national interests

Tax is also used to fund our military's.  This will allow Untied States to protect themselves from other countries that possess threats and help United States protect our national interests
