It greatly affected the process of growth and development.

In my opinion, federalism contributes also negatively in the local development because it creates many problems such as lack of coordination between federal, state, and local governments, difference can lead to poor policies, leads to inequities in the government of states and local government and competition between states and localities in different fields so in my opinion federalism is not good for the country's growth and progress.

Federalism is mixed mode of government which combines federal and provincial government to work together.

They work as a single political system in a country.

Federalism has various disadvantages like any other system. It brings a race down  by reducing workplace regulations and social benefits to the workers.

There is also economic disparity among the states. There is lack of focus on national issues and state related matters are more focused.
