How was the response of law enforcement and government officials different from the Black Lives Matter protests from the US Capitol riot in Jan 2021?

The law enforcement and government officials cared and weren't called out at the U.S. Capitol riot because there is almost none of the law enforcement and government officials see but, they will come to the Black Lives Matter Protests and shut everything because African-Americans are proving their rights. The law enforcement and government officials waited off to be called until it got really serious to the point where they really needed to call.
