The Founding Fathers did not believe in a military dratt (forcing people to Serve in the ammy). The United States has drafted soldiers to serve in most major wars since then. What are possible arguments in support or against the draft? believe our government should be able to force people into military service? Explain your answers RACE.

Enforcing a draft is wrong because it proves that you have to force people to fight in something a huge portion of the people don't support. An example can the Vietnam war. Because of the red scare, our nation was so focused on fighting communism that we’d thought the Vietnam people would welcome our troops like the people in Europe did in WWII. It ended up in a complete disaster creating a generation of men with PTSD who likewise were hated in the media and protests for being forced to be a part of something many of them didn't want to be a part of. If the war is truly worth fighting for people will fight it.
