2. Death toll from earthquake is higher in developing countries than developed countries because of the way buildings are constructed in these two countries. The buildings are strong and build with good material in developed countries and thus cause less damage in earthquakes, whereas buildings in developing countries are not strong and earthquake resistant, thus causing more damage and loss of life.
