How was manchuria impacted by japan?

Manchuria was taken by japan in a land dispute on Korea for a little background info. Manchuria wanted to stay chinese but Japan kept it and did things that would get me reported here in order to strengthen their Political and religious influence on the china sea (Between china and japan)
