What the person above me said is true. The French were in Chesapeake Bay in their ships and the Americans on land in Yorktown. They knew this plan would work cause they had a spy named Hercules Mulligan who spied on the British government. After a week of fighting, one of the British stands on a parapet and waves a white handkerchief. Washington negotiates the terms of surrender. They then escort the British out of Yorktown.

i disagree that there is little difference between adult female development and adult male development. sociological studies comparing female and male pathways to adulthood, revelead that there are sustancial differences between them. particularly, female and male differ from timing of marriage, when they began to live with children and the likelihood of combining wife/husband and parent roles.
