This isn't about anything academic I just have no one to go to: My close friend and teammate told me earlier tonight that she liked me and I told her that I don't know how I feel. Once I left, I debated it and I can't imagine us being anything other than friends. She has Borderline Personality Disorder and she is very sensitive. Rejection is hard for anyone but I can't imagine how it would be for her. I care about her a lot and it hurts me that I am the one causing her pain. She is very sweet and mature as well as formal. How do I reject her without making her too upset and awkward?
